Athletics are back at the middle schools
District 191 is pleased to announce that athletics are back at the middle schools.
Beginning the 2022-2023 school year, both Eagle Ridge and Nicollet Middle Schools will offer opportunities in the following sports:
FALL
- Boys Cross Country
- Girls Cross County
- Boys Soccer
- Girls Soccer
- Girls Tennis
WINTER
- Boys Basketball
- Girls Basketball
- Wrestling (Boys & Girls)
Wrestling will be a combined team between Nicollet and Eagle Ridge and will be housed at Nicollet.
SPRING
- Boys Track
- Girls Track
- Boys Tennis
There will also be year-round activities that will include Jazz Band, Quiz Bowl and National Junior Honors Society (please see the Clubs & Activities page for more information).
In several sports, 7th- and 8th-grade students are eligible to participate on high school teams. There are some offerings at the middle school that overlap with the high school teams that allow middle school students to participate.
There are also several sports that are offered exclusively at the high school. These sports offer opportunities for middle school students to participate at the high school.
