Caring Community Series concludes with a presentation in February

The Caring Community Series, a four-event series designed to support the well-being of One91 students and families, concludes with a presentation in February.

The final session will take place Tuesday, Feb. 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Nicollet Middle School, 400 E. 134th St. in Burnsville. Erin Walsh, from the Spark & Stitch Institute, will present "Courage Wins: Helping Kids Navigate Friendships & Bullying Offline and Online." The presentation is open to all One91 families, and interpreters will be available at the session.

At each event in the Caring Community Series, families are provided with resources, support and information around a variety of pressing issues, including online safety, mental health, bullying, and navigating children's emotional growth and development. Each session features a guest speaker and opportunities for discussion with other One91 families.

“We’re excited to introduce the Caring Community Series as part of our commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment for our students and their families,” said Assistant Superintendent Chris Bellmont. “These events are designed to provide practical, research-based strategies that will help our students thrive both academically and emotionally. By coming together as a community, we can make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our students.”
