Nicollet Drama Experience presents original adventure-comedy starting May 4
the drama experience at nicollet middle school

Can a club of wannabe escape room enthusiasts find a deliberately-hidden treasure while saving their kidnapped friends? Meanwhile, a dark organization stalks them from the shadows, ready to strike if they get too close.

Written by Nicollet Middle School teacher Steven Orth, the Drama Experience production, “How 2 Save Your Friends (While Finding a Treasure in 5 Easy Nonsensical Steps)” opens May 4 at Nicollet Middle School, located at 400 E. 134th St., in Burnsville.

Come enjoy this ridiculous adventure-comedy, which is a little bit James Bond mixed with some Saved by the Bell and a whole lot of National Treasure.

Performances run May 4-6 at 7 p.m., with a matinee showing at 2 p.m. on May 6. All performances will be held in the Nicollet gymnasium. Expected run-time is approximately 95 minutes, including a 12-minute intermission. General admission tickets are $7.

Additionally, there will be a livestream available for Friday and Saturday night performances only. Livestream tickets are $8. An access code will be emailed to the purchaser in advance of the performance. Tickets for the livestream should be purchased for each individual watching the performance, regardless of the number of screens.
